She honed her craft at Lv Bo Lang (绿波廊) and several other renowned 老字号 (time-honored) restaurants in Shanghai, where she developed a deep understanding of traditional culinary techniques and flavors. Her expertise shone through as part of a team that served exquisite dishes to world leaders such as President Bill Clinton and Queen Elizabeth during their visits to China. Annie also shared her knowledge as a teacher, introducing middle school students to the art of authentic Shanghainese cooking. Her exceptional skills earned her first place at the National Pastry Skills Competition and the prestigious National Pastry Technician Certificate, solidifying her reputation as a master in Chinese pastry arts. Now based in Utah, Annie continues to celebrate her heritage through her cooking, with her xiao long bao widely acclaimed as the best in the state.
